BACKGROUND

Redfern Optical Components Pty Ltd (Redfern) was established in 1999 out of the Australian Photonics Co-operative Research Centre. The team at Redfern developed a suite of high performance UV Interferometers that are based on three years of intensive development and over 30 years of collective experience in free space optics and fiber devices. At the heart of this break through is the key combination of complete flexibility (via software control) whilst producing FBGs with high performance optical filtering . Redfern also has a significant pedigree in high reliability FBG components.
