ROC DirectRite™ is a far field FBG fabrication process which has a unique combination of high fidelity and high flexibility.

ROC DirectRite is the equivalent of 'desktop publishing' for optical filters and it provides:

* Seamless transfer from the spectral requirement of customers through design to manufactured FBG.

* Low insertion loss

Complimenting the writing technology, Redfern has a significant pedigree in manufacturing of high reliability fibre components. We have a suite of athermal packaging solutions that are qualified to telecordia 1209 and 1221. Our production lines have been audited and certified submarine standard by Tier 1 submarine systems manufacturers.
